The play in France

In France, the play has been adapted by Dominique Deschamps. The first performance in Paris took place on June 1st, 2000 at the Théâtre Fontaine, starring Fanny Cottençon, directed by Tilly.

The current version of the play, directed by Isabelle Rattier, has been running since August 14, 2001.

The play was staged in several theatres in Paris including the Théâtre Fontaine, L’Européen, Palais des Glaces, Comédie de Paris, Petit Théâtre de Paris and finally at the Théâtre Michel where the show is still running.

More than 4 000 commercial performances of the play have taken place in France.
